Problems occur all the time. Organizations are frequently prevented from performing at peak efficiency and effectiveness. When enormous resource is repeatedly consumed in the process of dealing with recurrent problems, there is no room for improvement and innovation which ultimately stifles the company’s growth.
Organizations must learn to leverage on their human capital towards solving their routine service challenges and/or upgrade their current processes through an engagement and systematic methodology for all levels of employees.
It is important to recognize that the people that perform the task or activity daily are really the ones with the best job knowledge. What many lack, however, is the skill set for systematic problem-solving that would take care of the problems or service gaps permanently. Employees need to also learn how to work cross functionally and as effective teams.
Come learn from this workshop the systematic problem-solving methodology that employs a team approach so that all employees may be engaged to actively contribute towards the goals of their organizations. Participants are also strongly encouraged to discuss their workplace examples in order to witness for themselves how structured and systematic problem-solving methodology can foster teamwork, improve focus and communication with minimal human conflicts.
OBJECTIVES
This course aims to equip participants with improvement tools and techniques taking them through the process of identifying a problem, or opportunity for improvement, till resolution adopting a disciplined approach through exploration, appreciation and analysis. It also provides the needed understanding of formulating, organizing and implementing corrective actions along with checking the efficacy of what was implemented in achieving the goal.
This course also provides the essential foundation to the more advanced Six Sigma and Lean methodology which most organizations may at some point adopt in their improvement journey.
